Youth Chinese Test (YCT)

Age 7 to 12

The Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is an international standardised test that assesses the Mandarin language proficiency of children aged 7 to 12. It not only builds a strong foundation in reading, listening, and speaking Mandarin but also boosts their confidence in using the language daily. Preparing for the YCT equips kids with valuable communication skills.

Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì HSK

For Ages 10 and Above

Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is an internationally recognised Chinese Proficiency Test administered by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. It is comparable to tests like TOEFL and IELTS and serves as an official certification of the Chinese language. HSK certificates are valid worldwide. It is not uncommon to refer to a standard or a level of proficiency by the HSK level Number or score. For example, a job description or a college admission application might ask for an HSK score of 4 or 5.
